The African Community Center of Denver (ACC) helps refugees and immigrants rebuild safe, sustainable lives in Denver by ensuring they are supported with basic needs like housing, education, employment, and healthcare.

The Colorado National Guard Foundation supports Soldiers and Airmen facing unexpected financial emergencies. Whether it's a medical crisis, loss of housing due to disaster, the passing of a loved one, or another family hardship, they step in to ensure Service Members have the support they need when it matters most.

Project C.U.R.E. provides necessary medical equipment and supplies for hospitals and clinics in countries where poverty is a way of life and often a barrier to effective medical care. They work to improve maternal and child health outcomes; respond in times of climate and natural disasters as well as areas with violence and war; and build healthcare infrastructure.

The Action Center compassionately supports West Denver Metro families with food, clothing, coaching, financial guidance, resource connection, and seasonal programs. Through strong partnerships and community support, we meet urgent needs and promote long-term opportunities.

WeeCycle collects and redistributes new and gently used baby items—such as cribs, strollers, car seats, and Pack 'n Plays—to families in need across Colorado. They also operate a Diaper Bank and distribute diapers, wipes, baby food, and formula through mobile events and partner organizations to support families with infants and toddlers.

CARE works around the world to save lives, defeat poverty, and fight for people, especially women and girls.

Splash designs child-focused water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), and menstrual health solutions with governments in some of the world’s biggest cities.

Giving Machine Background

In 2017 the Giving Machine was born in response to a heartfelt question, "What if giving to someone in need was as easy as buying a snack from a vending machine?" The purpose of Light the World Giving Machine is to give anyone, no matter their age or means, the chance to actively participate in a giving experience.The Giving Machine have appeared in cities across the globe, capturing the attention of media, public officials, respected nonprofit organizations, business leaders, other faiths, and the public. In the past few years, hundreds of thousands of people have donated US$22 million in goods and services to care for those in need—around the block or around the world.Light the World is the annual Christmas initiative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is an invitation for all to follow the example of Jesus Christ and be a light to others during the Christmas season.

Giving Machine Denver will operate 24/7 November 20, 2025 through January 4, 2026 at the entrance to the Cherry Creek Holiday Market, 2nd Avenue and Fillmore Street.Donations are eligible for tax deductions. Donations may also be eligible for employer matching programs.There are several public parking garages near the Giving Machine. There is also plenty of street parking in the area.
